Mise en espace pour l'installation performative Dans le Coeur du Héron. D'une durée de deux heures, le public est invité à déambuler et s'orienter dans l'espace librement.

"Un espace hors du temps. De la pierre, des cœurs et des branches. Le scintillement des miroirs brisés. Le calme parfois inquiétant d’un paysage sans surveillance. Simiuni Nauya, sculpteur inuit, découpe des fragments de lumière dans les profondeurs de l’obscurité. Partager cet espace habité, le temps de conjuguer nos présences. Et, peut-être, entendre battre le cœur du Héron. Il n’y aura peu d’événements. Nous serons l’événement.

Nourrie par un désir réciproque de réconciliation, cette œuvre est le fruit de la rencontre entre Aurélie et Simiuni, rencontre énigmatique qui assume sa part de luminosité et de mystère. Par extension, l’œuvre devient le lieu d’une rencontre possible et complexe entre Simiuni et le public, avec son lot d’opacité et de transformations. Bâtie sur une relation de confiance, la performance travaille le renversement : le non-agir, la perception au-delà du regard, un cercle de chaises vides, le positionnement de chacun·e… Au cœur de l’œuvre, la présence de Simiuni : son engagement, son geste expert et sa présence délicate. Il sait que nous sommes là. Il nous accueille, sans démonstration, dans un espace de transformation. "

"A space beyond time. Stone, hearts, and branches. The glimmer of broken mirrors. The sometimes unsettling calm of an unguarded landscape. Simiuni Nauya, Inuit sculptor, carves fragments of light in the depths of darkness. To meet in a soulful space and tune our beings to each other. And, perhaps, to hear the heron’s heartbeat. There is no event. We are the event.

Fed by a reciprocal desire for reconciliation, this work is the fruit of an encounter between Aurélie and Simiuni. The meeting remains enigmatic, cognizant of its light and mystery. As an extension of the work, Simiuni finds the possibility of encountering audiences, with some opacity and some transformations. Building on trust, the performance works on unravelling: non-action, perception beyond sight, a circle of empty chairs, each person’s position… Simiuni’s presence is at the heart of the work: his engagement, his expert action and his delicate presence. He knows we are there. He greats us, without demonstration, in a transformation space."
